THE BIBLE

The Big Read is a student org located at Texas A&M University that exists to help solve a common issue: The majority of Christians want to read the entire Bible but the vast majority do not.

Rooted in the proclamation of Matthew 4:4, the heartbeat of The Big Read is that every Aggie would discover the supreme joy and lasting benefit of personally reading the entire Bible cover to cover, word by word.

Everyone knows Aggies are built different. That’s because Aggies read the Bible. We didn’t become who we are by accident. Built upon generations of men and women who were grounded in unwavering truth, Texas A&M University is a special place. We aim to keep it that way.

Everything worthwhile takes time. Good investments start small but end big. Reading the entire Bible during college is a four year investment that pays you back over a lifetime.
Well guess what? It only takes 5 minutes a day. And, the daily reading is dropped right to your phone every day (in the translation of your choice).
Whether you'd like to read on your own or if you'd like to read with friends, the main thing is building the habit of daily encountering God's word.
